FAQ's

Please read through all of these. They are not in any particular order.

✅ What training is required?

Michigan Hunter's Safety Completion OR SAFE Certification

✅ You don't need to own a firearm. We have several that students can use.

✅ The team supplies eye and ear protection if needed

✅ Open to any student in Grades 6 - 12

✅ We teacher proper shooting technique

✅ Build confidence, focus & friendships

✅ No experience needed

✅ Students can sign up for Trap OR Skeet OR both.

✅ The registration fee is $20 for Trap and $20 for Skeet that is payable to the the Team. Payment can be made via Cash, Check to CCYCTL or Venmo to Coach Severance

✅ The Team supplies shells for all Competitions.

✅ Students must either bring their own shells for PRACTICE or buy shells from the Team for $8.00 a box. (Reloaded shells are not allowed)

✅ All our practices and competitions are held at the Cass City Gun Club

✅We will be using the Cass City Schools (smartphone) App for communication. Texts and emails will also be sent. Students need to sign into the app with their school email and parents need to create/use an account using the email on file with the school.
